چکیده
In this study, the effects of limestone powder on rheological behavior, pore solution chemistry, mechanical properties and microstructure alkali-activated cements have been investigated. The results exhibit that, with increasing content in ternary system, structural build-up mixture increases earlier. It was observed that flow curves pastes fit Bingham model well. With fly ash mixtures, plastic viscosity decreased as expected by particle packing effect increased water film thickness well spherical shape particles. As a result higher specific surface improved nucleation provided powder, reaction process enhanced accelerated for mixtures contents. calcium alumina concentrations rapidly evolved at first certain time, but afterwards. significant influence Ms value activator evolution elemental concentrations. Microstructure analysis revealed early age product is C-A-S-H slag incorporating or ash. compressive strength incorporation due to inert character powder.

متن کاملALKALI Activated FLY-ASH Based Geopolymer Concrete
Considering the increasing demand for developing alternative construction materials, due to the growing environmental concerns, this paper discusses the feasibility of alkali activated geo-polymer concrete, as a future construction material. The main objective of this study involves observation of structural behaviours of the fresh fly ash-based geo-polymer concrete, understanding the basic mix...
متن کاملRheology and setting of high volume fly ash mixtures
While high volume fly ash (HVFA) concretes can be designed and produced to meet 28-d strength requirements and often even exceed the durability performance of conventional concretes, a persistent problem is the potentially long delay in setting time that produces concurrently long delays in finishing the concrete in the field. Previous isothermal calorimetry studies on two different powder addi...
متن کاملMicrostructural Characteristics of Geopolymers Based on Alkali-Activated Fly Ash
Aluminosilicate geopolymers with a high silica molar ratio have been prepared by mixing Croatian coal-ash (ASTM Class F) and sodium silicate solution (water glass, technical grade). The samples were cured at 85 °C for 8 h and 24 h in different experimental conditions. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM/EDS) have been use...
